Bill's report was extremely thorough! He arrived before the scheduled time, had a very friendly disposition, and explained everything so it was quite easy to understand.

The inspector did not leave us a card to contact him and had asked for additional information (bill/receipt), I am not sure how I will get it to him.
We booked the appointment. We have our own business and we waited.. the gentleman never showed up. He then called and said "sorry i need to come an hour later, I meant to call you last night". We had already waited at the house and then left 30 mins after he was late. We own a business... time is money for us. So they rebooked for two days later, the guy came and did the inspection.
Before the gentleman called we called the AmeriSpec office and booked the next appointment for March 28th. The guy then came out two days later.... it's hard to get a hold of AmeriSpec... we've paid and our appointment still says March 28th even though the inspection has been done. We haven't received the post inspection report and no communication.. I'm not sure that this has been a good customer service experience.

I found the inspector being not very personable. He did not introduce himself. I had to ask his name at the end of the inspection. He told me I get the report in a week or 2, that was over 3 weeks ago. I still not have received anything. I sent an email mentioning this with no response as of today.
He mentioned that the previous owner must have had some insulation done in the past under a low income program. I was surprised as a new owner who has been living in the house for few month and finding it quite drafty and uncomfortable. As a matter of fact as soon as the inspection was done we started some renovation. Some section has some insulation but for the most part insulation was missing. We documented it by taking photos.
He did not spend much time over all rushing to the task, I would say less than 1 hr. Did not take a plug apart, did not check draft at windows. Looking forward to the report.
