the staff was great
We went through the Home Warming Program with AmeriSpec. Jesse Pride did the home/inspection Assessment for this program. He was awesome and fully knowledgeable about the inspection and very friendly and made you feel at ease. The whole experience with this program was amazing, so that is why we called you again to do the OIL to Heat Pump program. Jesse has already done the Home Energy Assessment which was great. He made you feel at ease and it was nice seeing a familiar face. Thank you so much AmeriSpec!

Donald was our home inspector, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He did a very thorough job inspecting our new home and pointed out important issues while explaining everything clearly and calmly. He’s easy to talk to, super responsive, and has a really likable, down-to-earth personality that makes the whole process smooth and stress-free.
His inspection report gave me a great inside look at the home, helping me make informed decisions with confidence. Honestly, there’s nothing I didn’t like — he’s just awesome. Highly recommend Donald to anyone looking for a reliable and professional home inspector!

Great service from Steve, personable, friendly and knowledgeable
As I have twice reported, our original inspection was inaccurate due to an incomplete inspection with fabricated elements. Secondly the incorrect assessment of windows meant we were not eligible for grants for window replacements on our east side. Basically these were competence issues with our original inspector. And thirdly, after reporting the fabricated element on the initial inspection (twice) no one contacted us to make it right.
Our wind-up inspection was excellent and the inspector was both efficient and informative.
I would hesitate to make an overall favourable recommendation.
It’s been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive my report. The last time I had the report done I got it back in a week. I also made it clear that I’m traveling at the end of the month and the company that’s going to install my heat pumps is waiting on the report to get started. I also left a voicemail explaining this and I got no response.
