The cost of the environmental assessment was such a great percentage of what we get back that we could have just gone ahead with the improvement without the assessment. It was a lot of effort for not much gain. And apparently the rebate won’t arrive for half a year!

They were very thorough in their inspection. Covered things that I would have never thought of. And they very personable.
The entire process was seamless, and all questions were answered during the initial audit as well as the follow-up audit. The auditor was friendly and helpful during the entire process. Communication was great throughout both visits, both from the auditor and the office staff. AmeriSpec came as a referral to us, and we're happy with our choice.
We will certainly be comfortable referring others to AmeriSpec Inspection Services.

My final inspection was completed and paid on January 8th, 2024. At that time my energy assessor, Gavin Campbell requested more information on my window upgrades so that the inspection report could be completed. That information was emailed to Gavin on January 12th along with a request to complete the report as soon as possible due to my Greener Grants deadline. I sent an email reminder to Gavin on January 31st along with a request to provide an alternate contact if he was not available. Today on February 2nd I still have not heard back from Gavin or Amerispec. I have left a voice mail message this morning requesting assistance.

You didn’t show up for my appointment. I called to book back in October. I waited for my appointment until January 30th at 2pm.
No one called or emailed.
In fact, your office called in December (twice) to ask if I would like an earlier appointment. I said yes, and you never called me back.

Justin Spak was the inspector. He was thorough and knowledgable. He examined our whole house, outside and inside and offered suggestions on how to improve our home to lessen heat loss.

JJ was very knowledgeable. When I had questions and called someone called me back promptly.
I have to wait 1 month for the report which is a long time. How can I comment yet when I have not seen the report. The survey would make more sense to send after the report is completed, not now.
The person who performed the survey was excellent!!
Well I was supposed get a report within 2 weeks and havent received anything yet. so if the assessor states you will have a report in two weeks..I expect it to be here in two weeks.
