Nice staff, clean equipment, positively motivating environment
I grew up training at Powerhouse gym in Belleville, and in Garden City. I have tried the chain gyms and working out at home, but for my money it is worth it to go to PHG in Ypsilanti. I don't do the classes or socialize, but it has a good atmosphere, is suitable for people at any level, and is open 24 hours.
Very friendly personal trainer and very understandable and flexible even the employees there are very nice.

Friendly and helpful staff. Constantly cleaning facilities. Many pieces of equipment to try and use. Swimming pool and many classes to choose from. Great hours.

The place is clean. The pool is now at a good workout temperature. Lots of hot water in the shower. Friendly personal.
Friendly staff. The gym is clean. They offer a wide variety of group exercise classes with morning and evening class times available. All of the classes are taught with professional trainers. They also have a large variety of weight equipment for those who prefer personal training or personal use.
I like how many squat racks there are, the sauna, and the showers are pretty clean.
I like the new equipment. I like that the cleaning people are always there. The guys working at the counter are always friendly.
Good gym, great people and the cleaning crew is doing an amazing job! The improvement to the equipment is nice to see as well.
I definitely enjoyed visiting for my first time. I will return. The only thing is I don’t have a full understanding of the layout because this is not my home gym. Very nice, and super clean!!
