My husband and I enjoyed the low-pressure body scan consultation with the personal trainer. We enjoy the variety of equipment as well. We haven't had the chance to try any classes yet, but looking forward to it. It's a high energy and clean environment!
Only complaints would be that some of the equipment is a little dated, like the stretch machines are all torn up. Also, when trying to use the treadmill's global feature it says it's not hooked up to the internet, which was disappointing. Lastly, can't handle the Fox news playing all the time!
Overall, we're happy that we joined.
The Water Aerobics Classes are great and my membership is covered by medicare supplement!

The classes are great and the instructors are all first rate. I am a senior and I do not feel intimidated being around all the young people working out. Everyone is very respectful, helpful and friendly. I do think the pool needs to be cleaned better and more often. It has been about two weeks since it was last cleaned and it is starting to get nasty again.

Upon entering staff is friendly, and always willing to assist when needed. The gym is always clean along with the locker room. I also like the variety of machines that are available along with a pool and fitness classes. Other amenities are also available such as personal training and a nutrition program with trained and qualified dietitians. A juice bar is also available for a nutritional drink. I absolutely love my powerhouse membership and I don’t mind driving the +20 miles to get there because it’s worth it.
