Friendly atmosphere and the cut was exactly what was asked for!
my visit to Tommy Guns was what I was looking for
a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and time to relax after a long busy week.
Sam was great providing haircut, shave and massage. Went home and watched tv, totally relaxed. Was so friendly and thoughtful as was Jordan. Cannot wait to come back to Tommy Gun’s! Thank you!!!
Oh the head massage was amazing. The cut was well executed and everything went well. Very satisfied
Great cut, good communication
The staff was fantastic
Great service
Excellent service. I'm extremely satisfied with the results, hair and beard. Thank you.
The young lady did a good job
Melissa is fantastic
My son is autistic and nonverbal, making the experience difficult at times, so I have to thank Matt and a female colleague of his who helped, for their diligence and getting the job done well. We will be back!
My haircut was amazing as usual so I’ve no complaints at all.
Also, thank you Greg for the help and support!
Overall, it was a good experience. The barber was very nice with my son, listened to what we wanted, and gave him a nice haircut. I personally prefer when scissors are used more rather than mainly the buzzer, as I find it gives a nicer finish. I’m also not sure why his hair wasn’t washed, or the hot towel, he loves that, but it wasn’t a big deal.
The one thing I would really appreciate is more transparency when something happens during the haircut. He accidentally nicked a mole on the back of my son’s head. It didn’t hurt him, and I’m not upset about the accident itself, these things can happen. However, I would have preferred to be told right away, rather than it not being mentioned because my son didn’t cry. I think parents should always be informed when something like that happens, even if the child seems fine.
It was great

Our barber was absolutely AMAZING with my son. I would 100% take him back to him again for a hair cut he was very pleased!☺️
Great haircut. Very friendly service from Ruth.
Daniela est vraiment très professionnel! Dommage que je sois du Québec car elle serait ma coiffeuse de façon régulière!
10/10
Overall good experience but not as good as the service I get in Winnipeg i.e. no hot towel and had yo ask to trim eyebrows
Stylist cut my hair to perfection and listened to what I wanted. Excellent service from beginning to end.
Hairstylist was very friendly with my child and did a great job cutting his hair!
Beautiful haircut
Very pleasant atmosphere
Haircut was done exactly where I wanted it
And barber explained the products she was using
Salon tech was very detailed in the head shave
And head rinse !
KJ was a great barber! I understand he may have been new and the service took longer than expected, but he was so careful and cut my son’s hair exactly as I asked. It was a scissor cut, which is probably out of his regular day-to-day barber cut, but he did such a good job. I didn’t appreciate listening to the front desk lady complain about how slow and “useless” he was to someone she was on the phone with. It was loud, everyone could hear and it put a bad taste in our mouth on how she wasn’t speaking very nicely about our barber. She doesn’t fit the welcoming vibe of a north van establishment. You need someone younger, cooler, and kinder!
I brought in my young son and my younger daughter and they were very accommodating to give haircuts to all 3 of us. Top notch service. Very communicative. Only reason why I didn’t give 10* is because of the online booking platform and its it’s unreliability especially when I have to drive 1/2 hour.
The boys liked the designs and they liked the colour in their hair and right away he said he wants to go back next time to get his hair cut there next time and he wants to go blue next time
Was fast and really well done
