Love it, amazing

That all was ready to go. Popcorn 🍿, drinks 🥤 and hotdogs. We were the only ones in the theater which was as nice.

I filled out a survey recently and was given an opportunity to give my feedback on my visit to the Mayan theater. There were minor issues that I experienced and the manager emailed me and offered to give me a pair of tickets. I'm impressed with the way they care about their patrons opinions.

Easy access to concessions

I know it’s hard for people to be honest because some people will what it takes to ask for a water cup and fill it with soda instead. Maybe sell a bigger cup for ice only.

Customer service was great after a bad experience

I go here often. Always a pleasure and great experience for my family and I. There was only once , not too long ago that the theater we were in, at the Mayan, was way too hot In temperature. I stepped out because I was afraid it was just me but as soon as I opened the door to go into lobby you could feel the air difference. I went to the front to let the person who greets you and directs you toward the right screen and she said “ is it theater 3? Yeah I’m sorry it’s broken all day and I know they put a work order in. I’m sorry” I was kind of appalled that they knew and allowed showings anyway. Santikos is a brand that people love and trust. And this is Texas, our heat is horrible that’s why people are going to the movies so much right now. We’re trying get back to our “norm” after 2 years and do something that doesn’t require something that takes out of the house but not in the heat . Movie theaters are the perfect solution for both. Anyhow, I went to speak to a manager, and I wasn’t going to yell or make a scene, I just wanted to share how I thought it was a bad idea to keep showings going in a theater that wasn’t fit to do so. Many , like myself, don’t go alone. I, in fact, had to of my elderly aunts with me that day along with my 3 kids.Now luckily, they were only hot, but I saw some people , older people, walk out of the theater because it was too hot for them. My worries we’re what if my aunts conditions weren’t right that day? What if someone else’s weren’t..you never know how it can affect someone’s body, so why risk it? For money? For sales? Santikos is way better than that. I truly believe that.
When I went to share my thoughts with the manager , I said “ Hi, the theater I’m in, #3 , well it’s really hot and.” She cut me off and said “oh really!! Wow I didn’t know that , I have someone look into it , thanks for letting me know.” Dismissed me and walked away. She lied right to my face. And it was obvious in her response.
I went back to the theater.. and as I walked pSt the workers in there , I overheard them say “ ok they’re going to give them vouchers after the movie because ENOUGH people complained and some Walked out..” I love my Santikos , and I will continue taking my family, because one horrible huge mistake will not make me decide that you’re bad, but please don’t disappoint again. It was a huge let down , that instead of doing the right thing and just shutting down a theater because it’s not in a condition, that I’m sure you, yourself, would not appreciate, you chose to just leave it alone , knowing, it was hot and the ac was broken and maybe , if ENOUGH people complained , give them a free movie. It really isn’t free though if you think about it. I paid for an experience, and didn’t get it that day. You just gave me a “come back and try again” coupon.

Again, I love Santikos, and will continue going. You wanted to know about an experience and this was one I won’t forget. Yours always,

Theater is well kept. Its easy to get around from theaters to concession and to bathroom. Concession is fast with short wait times. Also, who doesnt like unlimited refills.

I contacted Santinkos about points I didnt earn. I was told to send a copy of the receipt and within 20min my account had been updated with the necessary points. great customer service, thank you!!

Able to fill my own popcorn n soda. Wish they would go back to buying with cash

I recently had some issues while visiting one of the Santikos location. I voiced my concerns and was immediately contact by Santikos. They were very professional and courteous with regards to my concerns. And offered a quick resolution.

Wasn’t too busy, clean theater and lounging seats.
