We had a wonderful evening at La Tavola Trattroria. We were well taken care of by Jerry from start to finish. He was very helpful and he clearly had a passion for the menu including the wines and cocktails. We enjoyed the Squid Ink Pasta with Calamari, the Zuppa de Pesce, and the Black Pepper Fusilli. The fresh tomato salad was wonderful as well. We had the Olive Oil cake with some Grappa and Italicus to finish. An incredibly enjoyable evening!

Good food, service and hip; a little too noisy inside
I wanted to let you know that last night's meal and service may have been the absolute best food we have had in years at any restaurant. The snapper was perfect, it was cooked to perfection accompanied by the arugula with the vinaigrette took the dish to the next level. The changes the new chef has made are nothing but outstanding. Now the food has always been good however these changes are exciting and elevate the dining experience. The changes to the enchiladas make what was once a side dish now a completely well-rounded plate. I can't say enough about the positive changes in the last few months.
We paired the dinner with DJ's special Angry Pineapple cocktail. This was a very pleasant addition to the summer drink menu. He is gifted with his drink designs and combinations. We are looking forward as we always do to our next meals at El Taco. Thank you for supporting the changes and helping elevate the restaurant to a new level of excellance. It's been almost 24 hours since I had the snapper dish and it's still on my mind! We eat out 5 nights a week so making an impression is not always easy in my world.

We walked in on a weeknight without a reservation and were able to sit at the bar for a delicious dinner, all the while enjoying the bartender Jerry.

Loving the new menu items (plus the usual tagliolini) and the little tables out front are nice. Appreciate making reservations and requesting outdoor seating and having that request fulfilled. So glad we can get appetizer portions of many of the dishes. Recently loved the peach lemoncello and the camari over farro.
My only complaint is that I had the gnudi there years ago and it hasn’t been on the menu since. Totally rocked my world and I always scan the menu first thing to see if it’s a special.

The food is delicious and something I couldn’t make at home. Love the margaritas too. The atmosphere is very fun and casual. My kids enjoy going to El Taco and it’s very family friendly. Service was great and everyone made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Loved El Taco before the pandemic and we will definitely continue to come back!
The food, the drinks & the ambiance. Also, the service is always great. El Taco is my go to taco place for these reasons. (Although, I wish you would bring back that mushroom taco. It was divine!)
