This is a high class Mexican restaurant. The excellent food and outstanding service are unbeatable. Great place for dining or just having a drink during happy hour….this is the place to be.
Arrived at 5:45, couldn’t get a table because we didn’t “call ahead” which was frustrating. Wound up sitting at the bar and by the time we left 45 minutes later, still plenty of open tables. Watched as they turned away customer after customer because of the calling ahead.
Service was great though. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. Would come back to the bar for sure. Not a fan of the call ahead. Prefer the first come first serve option.

A tantalizing menu of southern cuisine! The restaurant itself, has a warmth and welcoming to it. A gracious host at the door and friendly staff. The bar is a nice plus!

Our last visit was not great but this one was back on point! Everything is super fresh and always good.
Food, drinks and service were mostly amazing, as usual. Our only complaint was that the restaurant was out of Honey-Nut Graham ice cream! This is literally my and my wife's favorite dessert... one of the main reasons we patronize Alma Cocina. This is not just our favorite ice cream, but our favorite dessert! We always save room for the delicious churros and two scoops (one scoop each) of the Honey-Nut Graham ice cream. So you can imagine our disappointment when the bartender broke the news after we ordered. We got a scoop of vanilla but it just wasn't anywhere near the same experience.
We just love this place. the food is always amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our favorite server is Randall.
