So far, since moving to the Allen area, we have been very pleased and impressed with the First name removed Terrell Recreation Center. The facility is fantastic, with plenty of areas to enjoy no matter your age or what you look for in a recreation center. Every interaction with the staff has been outstanding, with everyone always willing to help, guide, or assist in any way. It is truly a top notch place with an incredible team.

Looks like a very well kept place with many activities for everyone. And the staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

Clean and well-lit facility with lots of options for exercise -- good variety and quantity of cardio machines, free weights, weight machines, classes, childcare, etc. we enjoy the indoor walking track.

It's a clean, healthy environment for members, staff is friendly and helpful. Towels are always readily available, adequate parking, indoor track is great and equipment is adequate.

I love their indoor track where I can walk year round and not worry about the weather! I also took pickleball lessons there and I enjoy playing on their indoor pickleball courts!

Love the classes and cleanliness of the gym.

I particularly enjoy the exercise classes, specifically those designed for older adults such as Zumba dancing and weightlifting exercises. Offering more (free) exercise classes during the morning hours on Tuesdays or Fridays would greatly benefit older adults who want to maintain their physical fitness and overall health.

Fun environment

The instructor and the setting. Rachel Chei is a talented, enthusiastic practitioner of yoga who curates beautiful experiences like this one. The sound bath was incredible!

the first two Sunset yoga sessions were in the back field. They were magical!
The last one was on the upstairs outside patio. While it was lovely - the fact that the rec center music was blaring over us was a distraction that put a damper on the experience. Nevertheless, Rachel proceeded to lead us in a meaningful session of yoga in deep meditation that was very restorative.

I actually just joined a few days ago and didn't have time that day to enjoy the facilities. My first time will be tomorrow. However, I was very impressed with the facility - the architecture, offerings, equipment, etc. - all wonderfully planned!
