Great staff and members.
Nice equipment. Not busy when I’m typically there.
Need better internet
Need way to get connected to sound on the various tvs
there's nothing we didn't enjoy.
I love swimming laps in the pool.
It is a very nice facility—clean, well appointed, and spacious. I have enjoyed every class I have taken there.
I enjoy the chair classes offered to seniors. However, there is room for more than 18 because it’s often difficult to get into a class. You have to set your alarm a week in advance. Sometimes when it says I’m off the waitlist I get the notice right when class starts so it’s too late. I probably wouldn’t promote more members of my age joining because that’s less chance of getting into classes. I would be happy to purchase more chairs.

Excellent workout rooms, both machines and weights. Best stuff in the area.
Showers and bathrooms clean; soap in containers. (I am used to In Shape's gyms)
The friendliest greetings from everyone
Great location for us and the club has everything we need for our physical health.
The facilities are comfortable and lovely, but the cardio is always way too hot. I really wish that youd turn the AC on in there. One puny fan with a sign below it saying that we have to ask staff to for us is not adequate. After running on a treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes, it feels like I’m in the sauna. It is awful. Apart from this, the staff are lovely, the facilities are well maintained and never overly crowded and I am totally happy.
Their fabulous staff and customer service. The luxurious pool and spa
small crowd, friendly staff
The gym has nice equipment, staff is helpful, there's plenty of group and private training, and lots of different types of workout programs available.
Some suggestions, though: have a way for gym members to let staff know of broken equipment (I've asked several staff about equipment that wasn't working but no one seemed to know how to report it); let us know who we ask for help with using the equipment (not a training session, just how to use/adjust equipment); in-pool training (e.g., aqua jogging) during spring/summer; survey the members about what additional group training they'd like and other suggestions.
I like the classes, the trainers (very knowledgable), and the staff (friendly and helpful).
The staff are welcoming and the facilities are well maintained. I look forward to my visits as I enjoy swimming and the sauna at the Capital YMCA.
The staff are friendly. The facility is clean, well equipped, not overcrowded. It is a pleasure to go there.
The Central Y has so many classes to choose from and there is a genuine sense of community there.
Love Sabrina, her music, the whole workout
I enjoy my arthritis class in the pool and have for over 20 years.
Convenient, clean, long hours
Excellent free classes
I have been a member of Rolling Wood (YMCA) since July 1998. Now that I’m retired, I generally work out 3 days a week on the weights. I use the treadmills when the weather is too bad for my 55 minute walk. I find the staff friendly and helpful and the machines I work out on generally in good condition.
Love the staff and community feel of the Fitness Center
I enjoy my trainer, Jenn, and most of the classes.
Weekly water aerobics class
The instructors are great, my fellow water aerobics participants are very friendly, and I have so much fun! The front staff is always welcoming and I like the location of this Y too. It’s very picturesque.
2 pools
Friendly
Great masters swim coach
I enjoy going to the fitness center (I do t enjoy the coolest location and wish you’d give Beth availability at the Fitness Center for all 3 Pilates classes)
I enjoy the yoga classes with Jennifer and Loren, and the Pilates classes with Beth
I use the weight machines. I enjoy the comraderie. The lighting to enter the driveway definitely needs improvement! It’s dangerous especially on rainy foggy dark evenings

A responsive and friendly staff— and the pool!
