I love that it’s just on a Saturday and not taking up so much time during the week. I do think 30 minutes is too long for a 3-5 year old game but overall I just like that it introduces the sport and can fit into our schedule

I really like the encouraging i9 staff. I wish the i9 staff routinely coached the kids- the volunteer parent coaching isn’t the most effective for the kids to learn skills at all different levels.
I like that i9 gives the kids a chance to learn the game, build confidence, and have fun while learning teamwork and good sportsmanship. As both a parent and a coach, I’ve really enjoyed watching the kids get more comfortable each week, cheer each other on, and get excited when they make a play. Seeing my son score his first touchdown was definitely a highlight! I also appreciate having practice and games on the same day—it makes it easier for busy families. It’s been a great way to spend time with my son and help the other kids learn and grow.
My child has enjoyed the experience so far. Coaches have all been friendly and helpful. Well organized overall.

Kind environment usually
I like that games are right after practice so it’s not a multiple day per week commitment. I also like that it feels more relaxed than some other kids sports leagues and most parents aren’t expecting the kids to all be great. It feels like a good place to play when your kid is just starting or when they don’t really want to play competitively.

We were placed on a really great team, and I’ve appreciated the positive environment! My only piece of unsolicited advice would be to ask parents about their child’s comfort level and willingness to participate when putting teams together. We have a few kids who aren’t comfortable playing without Mom or Dad alongside them, which is understandable. It hasn’t had a major impact on our team, but I wonder if other teams have felt it more. Having that insight upfront might help balance the teams so the same few kids aren’t carrying most of the playing time.
