They are great for introducing a sport to a child. Giving them this experience without a lot of pressure to perform makes the child focus on what he should do. The instruction provides multiple opportunities for each child to excel.

It’s fun for kids. Less competitive and lesson driven. Also it makes it easier on parents by have games follow practice once a week.
Coach Owen is great. Our daughter Myra is really excited about basketball and is just learning, he gave her a medal for most improved after she had a hard first class missing a lot of shots, but came back to practice the next week committed to keep practicing and learning. She wore the medal all week and used it in show and tell. She is enormously proud of her jersey too. It's been really fun and wasn't a hassle to sign up.
Convenient location, small teams, affordable cost, and our coach was great!
Registering is easy. Overall the program is very well maintained. Communication from the program to parents regarding updates, changes, weather etc. Works far better than any other youth sports program. I like that coaches have to go through a background check; safety of our children is very important. I also like that spectators are separate from coaches and teams for safety, other flag football programs don't do this. The parent/coaches webinar is very helpful.
