Customer Testimonials
The program are well developed. Coaches are great with with meeting every child at the level they are.
It's friendly! My child is actually learning some soccer techniques. The games are fun to watch although the seating and weather can be a pain. You (parents) have to plan ahead for that. But overall good program.
Team spirit
The coaches/volunteer parents are kid friendly. They really teach the kids the sport.
I love the positivity shown on and off the court and the way the players are being taught to encourage rather than discourage a fellow teammate when a play doesn't go quite right. This is a skill that will help these youth in future sports situations to be able to set a good example for other teammates.
I also like that everyone gets equal playing time, because how else can you learn if you aren't out there on the court playing!
The only thing that I wish was different, and it's not a negative at all. I wish the teams had more time for practicing skills together. 30 minutes, once a week isn't a lot and they do what they can with what they have available. So again, not a negative at all, I just wish there was a way to have more time for practice.
We are new to this organization and are very pleased with everything. Our daughter loves it!
It is on the weekend and convenient for the parents to take the kids to the game . We also like about that have time for practice before each game
Everything!
The program is absolutely fantastic. I have zero complaints. There were some issues with rowdy parents and I went and talked to the director. He was amazing! They heard my concerns. They validated my concerns and they addressed the issue. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in doing any type of sports activity for their kiddos fantastic!! Team building is amazing and the coaches are fantastic. This isn’t anything to think about doing it. You won’t regret it. Your kiddos going to love it!!
Volunteer and other coaches are great!
Everything
I like that it is low key
Love the atmosphere of supporting the kids and making sure above all else it’s fun!
How many options there are for young ages, and offering options year round.
We did our first i9 program with girls volleyball. It was great.
We are planning to sign up for the winter clinic as well and I noticed when registering that the jersey appears to be the exact same colors as the one we had previously in the fall season. It would be nice if returning participants had the option to re-use their jersey from previous clinic and therefore get a discounted rate at registration. I would rather save the money and use what I have, if it’s the same Jersey. We don’t need multiple jerseys for 6 weekly practices.
I appreciate the easy sign ups, positive experience for beginner players, and how everyone is made to feel important.
Great coach. Weekend practices and games are better for working parents.
Like that it's only 1 day a week, which is nice when trying a new sport. However, I'm not sure how competitive that would be as players grow into their sport. It's been great this time, but would maybe not be enough for a second season of this new sport. The coaches have seemed nice and knowledgable, the people who are facilitating the program are great, too.
Great coaching, opportunity to bond with other children, and learning great sportsmanship.
This has been wonderful for our son. The friendships he is making along with learning more about the game has been great!
All abilities can play
The director, Ms. Janet, is fantastic! She is so friendly and kind, but also is a skilled organizer and problem-solver. She makes sure everything is running smoothly and that everyone is having fun. She handles any problems with grace and consideration for others. She runs a great program and our family is thankful to be a part of it.
The development
Very organized and efficient!
I enjoy that I have the opportunity to coach both of my children and teach the game to many other kids as well. I look forward to coaching every Saturday and hope the kids continue to get something out of it.
Team growth and development
I loved the discovery program. I thought it was perfect for my 4 year old. The only thing I wished were different is now that we know he likes flag football there aren’t any 4 year old flag football programs available.
I think the programs are great as a starting point for sports for kids.
Hello,
Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts regarding the I9 Sports programs. As a volunteer basketball coach, I’ve truly enjoyed working with the kids and supporting their growth—not only as players, but as young people learning teamwork, confidence, and good sportsmanship. I’m grateful for the environment I9 creates, and I’m happy to continue being a part of it.
That said, I wanted to offer a few suggestions that I believe could make the program even stronger going forward:
What I’ve Appreciated
The positive, encouraging culture that focuses on fun and development
The structure around sportsmanship and weekly player recognition
The flexibility for families and the organization on game days
Areas for Improvement and Suggestions
Practice Time & Skill Development
The kids would benefit from slightly longer or more structured practice periods. More time for fundamental drills—especially dribbling, shooting form, passing, and defense—would help them develop confidence before each game.
Overall, I love the mission of I9 Sports; the basketball program can be even better for the kids and the families who support them. I’m happy to continue volunteering and helping in any way I can.
Thank you again for the opportunity and for considering this feedback.
Sincerely,
