Seems to provide good service. One thing I appreciated was that the driver took notice of the date on the tank. Not sure when it was recertified. I thought that was exceptional because we all want to be safe.
You try to respond right away when a customer has an issue. I've been a customer for many years and though sometimes I feel your prices are a bit higher than others, I am happy with customer service so I don't plan to change. I guess the old saying you get what you pay for stands true.

The billing process
I'll say that overall, dealing with Champagne Energy has been a positive experience. There have been a few 'bumps in the road' on some matters during our association with them these past 5 years or so, however the good news is they have been very willing to resolve any and all matters, every time. Additionally, during one of our price-searches for the region for a pre-season, bulk purchase, I'd received a better price offer from a competitor by a fairly significant amount and Champagne Energy matched it.
There was one matter most recently that bothered me a bit. I happened to be drinking coffee, looking out my front yard window when I noticed a competitor propane delivery truck driving slowly by, then backing-up in our driveway to apparently make a delivery. I immediately went out to stop the delivery thinking the driver had the wrong address. He informed me first that he was amazed that customers had not received notification that Champagne Energy had been purchased by them as well as another regional competitor. Additionally, don't be surprised or confused that their trucks will be used interchangeably for delivery purposes. Like the driver, it amazes me, and disappointed me, that we received no notification about that.
All things considered, however, particularly on matters that mean most....the bottom line being one of them, as stated, I am overall pleased with service.

Responsive
We just had propane delivered and I was shocked to see the price per gallon (almost double the advertised prices locally). I contacted Champagne/Superior and was told because our tank is only 30 gallons (gas range only), and we use less than 100 gallons per year, we pay more than someone with a much larger tank. The customer service rep does not control the price of propane and was very pleasant even if I was frustrated. In fact, the folks at Champagne in Biddeford are ALWAYS polite and helpful. The drivers are thoughtful and courteous (tank is somewhat hidden). I will not be chasing down 'cheaper' prices. I trust Champagne.
