I love the location; which is close to my home. Additionally, it is current and up-to-date in terms of equipment. I also like the large windows and natural lighting that it provides... just makes the experience more enjoyable.
Conversely, the annual price hikes are making me wonder at what point do I consider your competitors: like Planet Fitness for a quarter of the monthly rate.

Going to the Y regularly has improved my mental and physical health. The staff and many of the members are friendly. I enjoy that there is so much diversity at the Y, I have seen people of all ages and abilities.

I enjoy using the warm pool for self monitored physical therapy. The only issue is the strength of the chlorine, it burns my eyes. I have experienced rashes as well. since I only use it for about 3/4 hours at a time I think I can tolerate it as long as I take a shower immediately after using it.
If someone could please give some feedback to how this might be changing in the near future I would be appreciative. Possibly, less chlorine or a did type would be appropriate.

Silver Sneakers is great!! I love the walking track. I have taken the Endurance class but it has gotten so full and uncomfortable I no longer attend. It’s great for cardio! Jodi the instructor is the best!!

I am a single mom of two girls. It’s literally just me taking care of them. We have a lot of super busy days and I’m so glad we have the YMCA to be able to come and unwind and relax! My girls love all the different programs and sports they can do also! Being a single mom, money is also tight and we are so blessed to be able to have the assistance of their financial program! It also gives us the same discount for sports and programs as well! I don’t know what we’d do if we didn’t have this option! I’m so thankful for it!
