The staff and the atmosphere! I come in the AM and just love phoenix, He’s very welcoming and helpful! I also just enjoy the atmosphere of the central branch versus the other branches, and I genuinely hope you guys don’t change the lay out of it. I love the weight room in the basement, the private locker room, etc… it’s been my favorite gym I’ve gone in Fort Wayne!

My home YMCA is really short on classes, the central branch has plenty and the instructors are amazing and personable!! Ashley is such a great spirit, you can tell she really enjoys teaching and wants everyone to succeed in her class and leave feeling lighter!! The front desk staff is also friendly, welcoming and you can FEEL the positive energy the moment you walk in!! I just overall love the culture and diversity at this branch!!

The staff here are head-and-shoulders the friendliest staff of all the branches. The place feels dynamic but not crowded, and the facility is well taken care of. I appreciate all that they do to make everyone feel welcome!
People are friendly. There’s a nice mix of people. The place is convenient for me; I can ride my bicycle in. Downtown shops and events are nearby.
Central YMCA is a family. No other y has the closeness member to member and member to staff. Such a caring and fun atmosphere…I never want to miss a workout mainly because of the social aspect!!
