My home YMCA is really short on classes, the central branch has plenty and the instructors are amazing and personable!! Ashley is such a great spirit, you can tell she really enjoys teaching and wants everyone to succeed in her class and leave feeling lighter!! The front desk staff is also friendly, welcoming and you can FEEL the positive energy the moment you walk in!! I just overall love the culture and diversity at this branch!!

The staff here are head-and-shoulders the friendliest staff of all the branches. The place feels dynamic but not crowded, and the facility is well taken care of. I appreciate all that they do to make everyone feel welcome!
People are friendly. There’s a nice mix of people. The place is convenient for me; I can ride my bicycle in. Downtown shops and events are nearby.
Central YMCA is a family. No other y has the closeness member to member and member to staff. Such a caring and fun atmosphere…I never want to miss a workout mainly because of the social aspect!!

We love the childcare at the Y! My baby doesn't always settle down, and I trust them to not let him cry too long and let me know. I also know they are doing everything they can to love on him and play with him. He comes home smelling like their perfume! Which makes me know he is held and cuddled. Could not ask for a better experience! Thank you!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The girl working in the early morning until 11am is a wonderful advocate for the Y and she is a breath of fresh air.

I participate in silver sneakers - I like having the big gym space to spread out. the Central Y is also very hospitable to people of all races and cultures. The multicultural feel to it is very enriching.
I thoroughly enjoy my weekly water aerobics class. Kate Black is the best! I also enjoy playing Euchre afterwards. It makes for a wonderful morning.
