Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cleanliness of the building and grounds.
I love sending my 2 year old to the childcare while I go workout. The ladies there are all amazing and I know he is having fun and is being cared for!
Staff very helpful and friendly. People who clean & stock exercise center with spray disinfectant and towels are friendly and do a great job.!!! Enough machines to accommodate everyone.
You have a pool, jacuzzi, weight machines, and free weights. Front desk people are friendly.
I like the friendly staff. I like they try and keep the wellness center up to date on exercise machines. I will say that they do need two leg extension machines.
I like the warm pool as I do physical therapy exercises there.
It’s the best gym in Fort Wayne.
Plenty of equipment and safe environment and clean!
Friendly staff that doesn’t just say Hi, but engages in conversation & offering help.

It's a very nice facility and the staff seem very helpful.
I really enjoy the women's exercise classes for seniors. They actually make it fun to get a workout.
All the friendly staff and teachers. The senior exercise and balance classes. Something for everyone.
the staff is wonderful!
Walking swimming and weight and the staff is so friendly. Thank you
It was nice
Great experience. Today was my first time using my 24 hour access membership. I arrived before the Y closed and didn't realize they locked the locker rooms. I left all of my things in there so after my workout I couldn't get in there. I was able to get in contact with the director AJ and she had to come back to the Y to unlock the locker room. She was so gracious and pleasant towards me and I felt bad that I had to take her away from her family but she continued to reassure me that it was OK. I truly appreciate the customer service that this Y offers and that is the reason I enjoy my experience here. Thank you AJ.
Easy access from home, and a friendly staff
Their hours and close proximity.
I have been taking Barre classes Wednesday night at 5:45. The instructors are amazing and so helpful.
All the classes that the Y has to offer. Love the 24 hr access.
Everyone is so nice and friendly. That goes for both employees and members.
It's a great facility... current and clean. One concern I do have is the rather cold temperature of the shower next to the steam room in the pool area. It has a sign that says the temperature is not adjustable, but it's unpleasantly cold.
The series of medical topics with Bluffton Regional Meical Center is an excellent idea.
I like the line dancing class! Really fun and a good 45m workout. Folks are very welcoming.
Random ideas, since I have you--
I want to try the harder bang the drum class, too (boom i think?), but it sounds from the catalog to be much harder. Some other Ys have 45-60m regular BTD classes where they stand and sit for equal parts of it (or you can sit the whole time as you need). That means it has a bit more fun chroeo for everyone and better aerobic workout, but not crazy.
I would like to try the newer weight machines downstairs, but I am a little intimidated to just start, as I've not lifted in a gym in decades, and those didn't exist. Would be fun to have a tour or something you can sign up for? Maybe there is one, haven't checked...will do!
I would **love** a corner with more pilates style mat equipment and big stretching mats everyone can access, even outside of one of the classes. Things like bosu, yoga balls (like are in the dance room) and bands, balance boards/pads, 1-10lb smaller hand weights. I think they are mostly locked in the group room, if you have any (or you don't want to intrude class). There's no pilates anywhere in CC, not surprisingly, but lots of people, especially women and older folks like its benefits (and maybe can't do heavy weightlifting but can do more than the classes or want to workout alone/different times). It also matches what a lot of folks do in Physical therapy in most clinics, so it's good to have access to some of those tools daily. The one at Jorgenson and up on st joe center is very busy all the time.
Finally, I have a big vote for considering flattening the track as a capital project. Embankments are ok for fast runners, but can be really bad for hips and SI joints, especially if you are only ever able to go on a day that keeps you facing in a single direction. I miss walking in the winter because my joints can't handle the pretty constant tilt.
Love the chance to use the Y, thanks for hearing some ideas!
Instructors Jane and Josie! Y is clean and well run from what I’ve seen so far. Just joined a month ago.

Nice facilities, easy access, pleasant staff
