I wish propane was not so expensive, but I've always had great service.
I have very little experience w/ Western to go on, but I called for a 100-gal fill and the guy showed up a few days later, no fuss, no nuthin' and here we are. That said, it's only my 2nd fill in the 2 years I've owned this house, and for the first one, even though I requested 100 gallons, they filled it (which was more like 150 gal). So this time I repeated myself over and over, "Just 100 gallons," since obviously we don't use much propane!
Service tech Jorge was efficient, personable, and fixed my problem quickly and was a pleasure to talk to. He explained what he was doing and why.

We had a transformer fail and were down to 40 % propane to run our standby generator. We couldn't know how long the power outage would last so I called for special delivery and received it the next morning.

Reliable to monitor my propane usage and ensure my tank is adequately filled to meet our needs. Not has happy with causing sprinkler damage. It was obvious that the truck ran over my sprinkler and the bottom of my driveway.

Although I have some issues with the online portal, the people who answer the phone when I call are extremely helpful!
The Online Portal confuses me because there are always several amounts shown that I need to pay, but they are all different. If a box showing how much I need to pay now were available there, it would make it much easier for me to understand, and would avoid making it so I had to take time out of my day and bother the nice ladies at the other end of the Western Propane phone line. Something like "THIS AMOUNT IS DUE NOW".

I like Western Propane. They were helpful and courteous.
I don't much care for Superior Plus, the corporate entity that bought up Western. While I'm sure it makes good corporate sense (money) to wait until winter when prices are highest and my tank is lowest, getting a bill for over $600 last year hurt. A couple hundred dollars a few times a year is easily handled. Also the web portal gave me trouble at first, and when a bill comes by mail it only shows the amount due, not how many gallons and how much per gallon. Hiding something?
