2nd year doing this. New people, same experience. I completely trust the staff caring for my son. When I ask how his day was after pickup, he usually shares something about YMCA after school rather than the school hours. So it's nice to know he is being active and having fun.
My son has attended the YMCA After School program at Laurel Park Elementary School for over 4 years now. He absolutely loves the counselors and atmosphere, and has had a wonderful experience overall. Thank you to all, and good luck to Ms. Colleen on her next chapter! We willl miss you!

I love the Kraft YMCA - everything about it! The classes, the facility, the staff, the programs - it's all fantastic!
I wish we had an indoor (or domed) pool for year round swimming. Can we make that a priority?
Love the staff and convenience of the location! A few suggestions that would improve my experience would be to start the afternoon childcare hours earlier …sometimes I can’t make it in the morning but 4:45 is late for my crew- I loved when the childcare opened at 4:15 but 3:30 would be perfect!
Also since the reorganization of the cardio balcony, it could use more sets of lighter dumbbells (10s, 12s and 15s) there seems to be only one set of each size and on busy days it can be hard to find what we need. The very heavy dumbbells mostly sit untouched in that area.
