The people who work there are friendly
I love the water aerobics & line dance classes @ Taylor Y.
I must suggest that the women's pool locker room &
bathroom needs improvement with both additional showers & stalls.
One of my guests took one look at the showers & said no way.
I have moved to Pittsboro &:after touring that new Y there is a world of difference between their bathroom & the Taylor YMCA which I have belonged since 1996.

People are super nice. Water aerobics classes are good. Like yoga room and class instructor was good.

The female staff are very friendly. Not so much the men. They don’t ever say hello or seem happy to be there.
FINALLY the steam room seems very operational, at least for now, and that is why I have been coming more. Things in my membership that I pay fees for should always be functioning.
Ps… the men’s shower heads are very different. And not at all up
To standard. One is too hard and the others trickle. Not OK. check them out. You will see.

Very well staffed and they have equipment, classes, pool, track among other things.
Memberships price is beyond reasonable for all they offer.
Friendly, personal, clean facility, classes, locations, atmosphere, family friendly.
The Taylor Faimly location was amazing. I like how there is a designated cardio area on a balcony. The equipment provided for workouts is good and had everything I needed. The basketball courts and track were cool. It was cool to find out there is an indoor pool.
I will say, the showers felt a bit overpressured and felt like there was a need for more dividers. That didn't take away from the experience.
I love the Taylor Y. The staff, instructors, and members are supportive and kind. It is a friendly place!
I have complained in the past about the lack of floor space. I will continue to complain. It seems that more space is created--only to have it taken away. I am rarely there when there is enough space for all who want to have a mat on the floor out of the way.
Also, the app remains very frustrating. It spins and spins frequently.
Otherwise, I think that they Y is great!

Friendly front desk staff
The retractable dome pool and its lane reservation system. Would love more single lane availability, but I’m happy they restored at least some.
The kind and caring nature of the staff which in turn passed to us the other members. The Taylor Family YMCA is a community belonging environment a culture of thoughtful and compassionant people.
I love the friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff at the Y. From the moment I enter till the end of my workout it’s a very positive experience!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff; well equipped
The new lady (white female, brown hair with glasses) working at front desk on January 21 (Tuesday evening) was very friendly and courteous. I saw her treating other customers same with warm smile and friendly attitude that are different from other customer service staffs working at YMCA Taylor. Kudos to her excellent customer service!! Sorry I wish I knew her name but I am sure you can find out who she is.
Good activities, my child really enjoys it and gets to be very active before coming home
