The staff at Poole Family Y is amazing! Everyone is friendly, the group fitness instructors keep everyone motivated (try to get into 1 of their classes always full), and the membership people there aren’t enough words to say what a great job they do!
I wish the facility was bigger and we could have more classes at the same time (don’t know it there are enough instructors.
Overall this facility feels like family a safe place I can go for both my physical and mental well being.

For me, the Poole Family YMCA, is my safe place. I have been a member for almost a year and the staff is very supportive and welcoming. I’ve been working with one of their trainers and she has helped me so much with building my confidence mentally and physically. If I haven’t gotten to the gym in a while, when I get there, it’s a sign of relief. Ah, I’m now in my happy place. Thank you to everyone at the Poole Family YMCA for going above and beyond for your members. I’ll never forget, when I first joined, I was in the Start Strong class and I had to excuse myself, because I had a panic attack. On my way home, the staff called me to make sure I was okay. Thank you all and god bless. ❤️
I get a lot for my money, great exercises, personal training, exercise equipment, swimming pool, opportunities to socialize, and a friendly, helpful staff
Staff, facilities (convenient) classes/availability. Class instructors are excellent. Also appreciate the community outreach and being able to be part of the efforts.
I love the classes and the instructors! I just wish that core and a few other classes were available in the evenings, since I work during the day. It's a great place to workout and I've been a member since 2018!

All the staff that I have had the pleasure of interacting with have been kind and friendly; from the front desk to the aftercare staff. I am also a huge fan of saunas and am VERY pleased one is available on-site.
