It’s a very welcoming place, the gym equipment is readily accessible, it’s very clean and the facilities are inviting – the sauna is large and always operating and the lockers are nice and large. The showers are also large and easy to use with a sense of privacy.

I love this place--the folks at the desk; the people at the gym. It's like a family. Don't close it when the new Y gets built! Spend some $ on it--the steam-room needs some updating.
Lakewood YMCA has all I need and want. Except for not having a pool, I'm very happy with all the other facilities, and it's small size allows for better social relationship with other members. I like it being near my house, which is a big plus, and the facilities are kept clean. I love the steam room and sauna! The staff are wonderful, and there is a good selection of group fitness classes available.
After school hours are very convenient. During pick up line, staff is always ready at the front and attentive.
My son absolutely LOVES both the before and after school programs. The staff are always in a good mood when I interact with them.

I am a steam room member. I love the cleanliness, steam temperature, size and the all the signs you have placed. I was so surprised to see a sign about taking pictures in the sauna. Absolutely crazy that someone would take pictures. Anywho I love it.

I'm SO excited about the new step classes with Anthony. He's a fantastic instructor and the move from Hope Valley to Lakewood was a great idea -- there's more space to exercise and more room for people. And, selfishly, it's my preferred YMCA branch. The front desk team is always exceptionally friendly and positive. I'm a proud Lakewood YMCA fan! Thank you all for everything you do!
