Close enough for me to walk to the gym. But get the men's sauna door fixed so that it has a basic closure mechanism. This is the only sauna I've ever used that didn't have some sort of closure device to keep the door closed. It can't be a safety issue if other saunas globally use one. Please have the will to fix.

I generally have a wonderful experience at the Kerr YMCA. I would love to have the option of having STEP classes, specifically STEP STEP and Extreme Hip Hop STEP. These classes are popular at AE Finley, Southeast Raleigh, Poole and Alexander YMCA.

My family and I have been Y members for years. My son swam for the Y and I now enjoy the variety of classes—yoga and Pilates. The instructors are excellent and the staff is friendly and professional.
I love the workspace while my child plays with other kids and does crafts and games in the clubhouse. I wish the kid’s pool had more hours available in the weekday afternoons or that we could get more hours of childcare per day too. And I wish we had cocoa for the coffee machines, but it’s a great space and we are very happy with our YMCA membership.
The facility and the staff
I love the swim Aquafit classes and the instructors. Everyone at the front desk are warm and welcoming. I feel a welcome at the Kerr Y and it feels like family.

Excelent place for fitnes work out. Will kept facility. Friendly and caring people. You learn a lot about healthy habits for seniors. Staff is always wiling to answer your questions and able to help when needed. Terrfic staff.
