i love the aqua classes and the thrive classes. I wish there was an on-ramp to pilates. Maybe a more regular beginner class so that people who are new can work up to regular pilates.

As a transfer from Rex Healthcare, it is natural to compare gym experiences. I continue to be very impressed by the quality of the classes, which is my preferred form of exercise. The instructors are excellent. I appreciate the many options offered. The center is clean, well staffed and organized well. Not too fond of the new 46 hour class registration window, but very grateful that the class schedule on the App states when registration opens.

Pleased with all the activities that are availabel at the Kerr /family YMCA. Now I only have to go to one facility to get a variety of differnect types of fitnes workout. Pleased with the different programs that they have been added and available for seniors. I feel comfortable trying new workouts
Classes I enjoy are Aqua Fitness: Aqua Fit, Thrive Cardio Strength, Zumba, Aqua Fitnes: Aqua Circut, Aqua Fitnes: Aqua Hiit, Thrive: Chair Yoga, Thrive: Cardio Strength. I also enjoy being able to do inside walks
Can't express enough how please i am with the many different instructors. I am so thankful for the excelent staff that are available to offer their services at Kerr YMCA .

Only there due to a u6 basketball league. Our family's YMCA is Kraft Family. In saying that, I am very impressed with Kerr's facility....Outstanding!!
It’s clean, well cared for and staffed with friendly helpful people. The only complaint I have is the number of people who sit on a weight machine either scrolling on their phones or just talking while others wait to use the equipment. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful center for wellness.

Service and staff
Kerr Family YMCA have at least 4 to 5 machines for upper body (bicep, tricep, row, pull down, chest, 1 more) and lower body strengthening. This location has tea and coffee. All of the YMCA fitness gyms should be well equipped like Alexander and Kerr.
I visited the downtown Durham location a few days ago. It's absolutely not well equipped? The Durham location only have maybe 2 upper body machines? There's no tea or coffee. I drink decaffeinated tea/ herbal tea.
