I just want to give a big thank you to the Banks D. Kerr Family YMCA for just giving me a chance at life again and getting my body stronger and just having a great place to train and get great exercises in everyday.
Personnel are always helpfull and always smiling.
I like that the YMCA supports and upholds Christian principles: and the greatest of these is "Love God and Love others." Matthew 22:37-40.
I will say, though, that I have concern about the safety of my children in the locker rooms. Yesterday, specifically, I chose to have my daughter use the family shower (instead of the girls locker room) after the pool because I don't trust that the YMCA is doing everything they can to keep the locker rooms a space for biological gender.

The variety in classes and also diverse group of members makes it easy to feel as though you fit in.
Staff and instructors are the BEST!!
I took a great cardio strength class with Heather G on Thursday evening. Her workout was tough but she made it light hearted with cute holiday names. She’s so welcoming and motivating and a great instructor.
Is aways clean and everyone is kind and helpful.
The staff take great care of the kids and keep them engaged.

I like the atmosphere and the members that I have encountered. The space is nice although I Don feel the gym equipment is to tight down there. I am not as comfortable using the gym equipment as I was at Rex Wellness. I have found a class I like but would like to see more early classes that are not biking.
Philip loves going to the Y and we are very happy with his after school care!

The YMCA has the right supports in place for moms to be able to make their own health and wellbeing a priority. I am grateful for the Y being a place where I can move, chat with adults, and shower in peace. Thank you!
The Banks D. Kerr family YMCA is always very clean. The staff is very helpful and outgoing.
I use the pool a lot and you can count on it always being clean and the water clear.
I just wish that you had a jacuzzi or whirlpool.

I had a heart attack a week ago when I was there. I felt very comfortable going up to the front desk and telling someone that I wasn’t feeling right. I felt this way as I had seen someone else have a medical issue there one day and saw that there was an established emergency response procedure in place. The wonderful lady at the front desk immediately responded and took a such great care of me. My cardiologist told me that if you are going to have a heart attack, the Y is a great place to do it due to the wonderful preparation and response, I believe God sovereignly had me there that night.
I like the classes, the instructors and the cleanliness of the facility.

The choices of classes.
Good morning, when I enter front desk area to sign in, I’m always greeted by a welcoming face. I enter locker room, change, do my things in gym area, and leave. If I need any help or questions answered, always done in professional manner. You have a great facility, thank you!
Suggestion - On the wellness/workout floor, I've often been entertained watching members try not to fall over while taking off their sweatpants and/or putting on sneakers. Is it possible to move one of the rarely-used red benches from upstairs to the area near (to the left of) the coat hooks (in front of the windows to the gym) so people have a place to sit when they need to change? Also, lots of workout bags/backpacks could then be placed below the bench.

I enjoy the variety of classes as well as the people teaching them. I have had different levels and goals of personal fitness since my membership started over 15 years ago and I feel that the y has always been able to meet me.where I am at
