Classes, weights and machines for my teenage boys.
I was so the basketball/pickleball court usage was more even. There’s much more time given to bball than to let pickleball on the courts.
Please let all pickleball adults know they can’t bully younger kids if they want to learn pickleball and want to play. The kids wanting to learn to play can be given at least one court on 1 night a week to help them learn.
This has been an on going issue with adults who get free or discounted memberships while parents and families pay much more and the adults bully the kids and say they can’t play.
Banks D. Kerr Family YMCA is friendly, clean, and organized.
Very clean, has racquetball courts, and a variety of equipment and classes available.

Clean surroundings and helpful staff
In this order: Les Mills classes with great instructors, a sauna, towels, clean bathrooms, and courts with pickleball and volleyball. I am switching from O2 Fitness, and my main complaints were the inconsistency of the classes and the cleanliness of the floors in the studios. All the best instructors are at this YMCA location (Kelly G, Abbey B, and April J). Plus, you have a sauna, clean bathrooms, and courts. The only issue I think I will have to deal with is the dirty floors in the studios. O2 had the same issue… I believe they had the worst because many members wear wigs. I wanted to help, so while attending O2, I took pictures of dust balls moving during classes with all the fans on, but it never got better. With Bodypump and BodyCombat, you are on the floor for burpees, abs, and the cool-down, and the amount of hair doesn't help me (at least) relax and focus on the exercises. Could you have a cordless Dyson and have someone do a quick clean-up sometime during the day?

When Rex closed I came to the Y temporarily until O2 fitness opened but after spending 3 weeks at the Y I decided to stay. The classes are wonderful

My experience at Kerr Y has been great at every level. The staff is friendly, professional, and encouraging. The facility had met my expectations in equipment, aquatic programs, and training. I have made numerous friends and enjoyed their encouragement. I intend to be a long term member.
The equipment is up to date, the facility is always clean and the staff is very pleasant.

The childcare is amazing with caregivers who really care and are consistent! The lobby is a great place to work with lots of natural light. The workout facilities are also very nice!
