This camp has been a wonderful experience for my daughter! She loves coming hear each summer. She gets excited to make new friends each year!
My granddaughter likes the camp a lot. Her only complaint is that the younger kids ( she’s 7 and rising 2nd grader) aren’t allowed to canoe!!

The front desk staff and the trainers are always welcoming. The cleaning staff are friendly and they do a good job keeping the gym clean. The equipment is brand new. The gym in general is wholesome and we really enjoy being part of the Y.

My two girls have had a phenomenal experience at Camp Clearwater. They love all of the activities and have developed trusting, fun relationships with the counselors and other campers. No complaints!
The Chapel Hill YMCA is run very well. The staff are very friendly and engaging.
One policy inconsistency that I would note and people visiting from other local Y's have mentioned to me. Some YMCA facilities offer a towel service and other facility sites do not.
It might be helpful to clarify and publish/disseminate what the policy is and why differences exist between different Y's that are part of the greater triangle YMCA network.
Diversity of members, staff, fitness opportunities. Community, friendliness, great group class teachers; Sam, Brianna, Erin, Gina and Joan.
I find my kids dig in to their resourcefulness and they have opportunities to explore adventures that are otherwise difficult to reach such as archery and canoeing. I also believe they get a lot of time with really high quality counselors that help show them a really positive role model.
It is a welcoming and well equipped facility.
Good classes on the weekend. Clean. Convenient. I love Janice and Joan’s weekend classes.

The supervisor is very patient and responsible. The children quickly adapted to life at the summer camp and come home happy every day.
