Ellen’s Thrive class and Beth’s water aerobics are great workouts.
My daughter (6) has had a great experience! She has loved the community aspects - singing songs, etc. I loved when she told me that she went in a canoe and had to deal with any trouble that came up herself! She has tried new things, learned new things, and increased her self-confidence and independence. We look forward to returning!
I love that the kids have outdoor fun all day, play traditional camp games, sing songs, learn important values, and are free to be silly.
Also, the camps feel very well-run and organized.

The counselors make an effort to get to know the kids. At first, my son did not want to go but he has made friends now and enjoys it!

Everyone who works there is so incredibly kind and caring! They are great role models for the campers, and my kids come home happy and tired every day. This is our fourth year of spending some portion of the summer at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA day camp, and we'll continue to incorporate it into our summer planning until our kids are too old to attend. (I'm trying to plant the seeds for them to become counselors there one day!)
My son loves Camp Clearwater! Comes home every day with a new character bead, gets to swim and play lots of different games and learns new songs all the time! Counselors are top notch, trained very well, and the directors are very involved and supportive of the campers as well as the staff. My son’s definitely building core memories here. We’re very grateful to be a part of this camp! 🏕️
Love the pool class outdoors
I love the pick-up from school. The friendly staff. The back field with the volleyball and other ball games.

I love my yoga classes with Alta and brandee. I appreciate the friendliness of the front desk staff. I enjoy coming to lift weights.
The staff are so responsive and accommodating. The kids begged us to drop them off earlier and let them stay longer and shared stories of building confidence in learning archery.
I love how you guys have organized activities planned out for the day. Things that the kids enjoy doing. The convenience of time for the parents to be able to work sufficiently. The leaders are efficient and friendly.
