I enjoy working out with like-minded people who join the YMCA because we share Christian principles. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The Alexander Y is a second home for me. So many great people working there making it an incredible culture to workout and feel comfortable.
Special shoutout to Mari for always being kind, friendly, and truly engaging whenever I come in. The person who greets you at the front desk 100% makes a difference as to people feeling welcome coming to the gym and she's the best.

Alexander YMCA has such friendly people and is a great facility. Plenty of parking as well.
Finally a non discriminatory place to keep kids busy and off the street. My only problem is that too many people in one room for some of the classes, Emily’s class on Hillsborough shouldn’t be in studio 1. WAY too small!
