Member Testimonials
Facilities, instructors

People and the environment to event when planning
Wonderful facilities and thoughtful staff.
I love the instructors, especially Matt M, Anna Beth, and Christine R.! Stacy A teaches a very vigorous Ripped & Strong, but is short on the cool down. We need a longer reversal of her workout please...it is a rushed few minutes after a rigorous 60 minute class.
What I like most about my Alexander Family YMCA membership experience is how welcoming and positive the environment feels. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always make me feel comfortable when I come in. I appreciate having a place where I can focus on myself, my health, and my overall wellness. I also enjoy the variety of equipment, programs, and opportunities available to members. Overall, I’m very happy with my membership and appreciate everything the YMCA does to create a welcoming experience for the community.
Friendly, helpful people. I needed help to get my things out of my locked locker and Gail was most helpful.
Friendly staff
I love pickleball
I often recommend the Y specifically Alexander because of the staff. I feel so welcome every time I go. And the instructors are wonderful and I always tell people how strong the sense of community is
The pool and all the convenients: showers, sauna, steam room , dressing rooms etc
Kid zone! Clean facilities, great group fitness, positive atmosphere
I enjoy working out at Alexander Family YMCA, especially Yoga classes with Julie and Trive: Balance & Strong, Restore & Core with Anna Beth classes.
I feel appreciate the front desk staff's friendliness and welcoming attitude.
Great facility! Only feedback was that I took a yoga class in studio 1 and very often people would drop weights on the floor above. It was loud and disruptive
I love the mind body classroom and the lobby area.
Nice people, nice facility
I love the adult education class for all the weight machines!!! Cindy Rice was so helpful and knowledgeable.
Group fitness! Shout out especially to Body Pump with Matt. He's awesome.
Facilities and facily staff are excellent.
The classes(Thrive), instructors, the pool, the workout equipment. Like the other members and enjoy having a trainer.
The fitness classes and the people!
Facilities, instructors and kindness of staff
I like the facility, the staff especially the instructors.
Staff is always very friendly and helpful, the facility itself is very clean and tidy with a lot of amenities.
Community. Patrick's swim classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Group fitness classes
I would like to see more 5am classes though.
Staff is professional. When equipment malfunctions, the problem(s) is addressed.
-The facility is state of the art (new building, new equipment, great variety for cardio and weightlifting)
-The staff is always friendly and keeps the gym clean/orderly
-The membership price is good value
-I received guest passes in the mail which allows me to bring friends/family from out of town. I have never had this perk from a gym before and I really love it!
Clean and the staff are very friendly
The people who work there are warm, friendly and helpful. The fitness instructors are dedicated and make working out fun. The facility is great, but it's really the people who work there that keep me coming back. I've been a member of a YMCA since 1999.
The facility is very clean and well maintained. Staff are polite and professional.
