It’s a great place to workout with an excellent selection of equipment. Hands down the best gym for anyone, including those like me on a tight budget! Plus the indoor pool and sauna are exactly what’s needed after your workout! Did I mention that they have aerobic classes, the list goes on and on!

Great staff - top of the line equipment - lots of machines and free weights so it's rare to have to wait for equipment - never too crowded.
Good variety of quality classes, great pool with lots of lane availability, easy parking, close to my house.

Nice, big facility, convenient location and parking, lovely studio space, and good group fitness instructors. Selfishly, I do wish there were more class times in the afternoon so I could pick up my child from school and come straight there, instead of having to drive back home (20 min away) and come back later.
Can we replace the chains in the ergs? They are pretty run down at this point.

It’s a very friendly and non-judge mental place! Instructors are great! But please turn the AC back on and keep it cool when appropriate. Since the AC was replaced, it’s been too hot more often than not.
Modern clean facilities with adequate parking nearby. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful.

I've been a YMCA member since 2003. I took a break from April 2020-this year so it is so good to be back. Since coming back I've gotten my sister's family to join in Apex where they live. It's always felt like home to me. Thanks for all that you do!

The Alexander YMCA is a friendly facility with plenty to do. It is clean and safe place to enjoy recreational activities.

it gets pretty noisy in the summer during summer camp - hoping there will be more opportunity for kids to be outside in the future
The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I enjoy using the pool and find that it's usually easy to have a lane.
Love everything about the YMCA. I usually workout while my 14 year old son plays pick up ball or gets his shots up. I have enjoyed cycle classes as well. The Y has a lot of exercise equipment and the staff is always helpful and smiling.

My favorite things about the Y are the membership diversity and the fact that I feel welcome in any group or activity I try.
Really appreciate the layout of the weight areas. Like the variety of equipment. I actually like quite close to a different Y but drive to Alexander due to the weight room.
