I wish the YMCA maintained its Durham locations to the same high standards as the Raleigh Alexander Family YMCA location. The Raleigh location is so much nicer in comparison to the Durham locations!

I had a great first visit. I typically visit Poole YMCA but thoroughly enjoyed Aqua Fitness and the steam room.

My favorite Y in the triangle. Weight room and cardio is the largest I’ve seen. Staff is great.
My home YMCA is in Durham. Alexander Y has such high quality instructors. In addition, the equipment is plentiful, modern, clean, and functional. The locker room is spacious and clean.

I love that they actually listen to membership concerns, and address them accordingly! They really do hear you, when you have a suggestion or complaint. I was pleasantly surprised with the results of my suggestion about the showers in the male locker room.
I was informed that AJ was able to come up with a solution to help make the shower more sanitary. Thank you for all you do!

I love the hours and the counselors are very kind. You can tell that they enjoy the kids.
My child has always enjoyed the environment created by the onsite counselors. They play with the kids and provide them structure for a safe-supportive space to wind down from the school day.
Alyssa Killen and team are fantastic guardians and coaches to the kids. My son has been doing the Y After Care at Underwood School for 3 years and it's the highlight of his day!
I like that the water is always clean and that the lifeguards are always attentive to the children and the people in the water, and everyone at the front desk is very friendly. My children and I love the YMCA 🏊🏻♀️👍

The facility is spacious so there are many spots available in the classes. I also enjoy the fact Tay the Y be gs together people from all generations.
Lots of great points -- but I'd greatly appreciate your cleaning the shower walls more frequently and changing the shower curtains in the women's locker room more often, because they are rapidly attacked by mold
