The Schalmo Y is the best thing that has happened to Canal Fulton since they dug the canal! It is a facility that offers our community a place to get together with friends and make new friends. It's a place where we can get fit, play basketball, swim and a host of other specialty programs.

I like the design of the pool for younger learners so they are not afraid to swim end to end because there is no deep end. I like the instructors. They are kind, considerate, and hold children to the rules to ensure safety. The skills taught have helped Logan feel comfortable in the water and as a mom I feel better knowing the skills he learned could safe his life (and it helps me be more relaxed when he is near or in water). Great experience.

The facility is always clean, the gym is well stocked, the staff is super friendly and the kids programs are amazing. We are glad to call Schalmo Family Y our home for recreation, fitness and wellness.

I like that they are able to answer questions well, are kind and considerate. Especially Curtis and Micheal. Micheal, swim instructor, is really patient with my son who has sensory issues and I appreciate that. Curtis was able to help me out with my financial issues and listen to what was going on and how he could help me. Thank you.
