The staff and members are very friendly. I LOVE the water fitness classes here. I drive further for this awesome Y. The locker rooms are very clean. The showers have the best water pressure in all the Ys that I visit! Keep up the great work!

Friendly, clean

The clean and welcoming environment, along with the friendly staff make for a great place to start the day!

Very clean. Wonderful people and not overly busy.

I love the group classes especially Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with Tara, Power Hour with Lynne, and Saturday mornings at 8 am. I work full time and these classes fit into my schedule. The instructors are great.

I do think that more oversight needs to be given to the youth that visit the Y. They don’t clean up after themselves, misbehave, and often monopolize machines in the gym for extended periods of time so others can’t use them. Many adults are trying to fit in their workouts between other responsibilities and don’t have all the time in the world to wait for and clean up after children. The people using the Y facilities should not have to babysit other people’s children. If children are going to be permitted to use the facilities than either the parents or Y staff should be overseeing this.

Small town feel and friendliness. No Instagram model wanna-be’s at least when I go. The pool area is small but usually available and is the best looking one around.

Love the sense of community the Schalmo Y creates.

Very nice facility. Nothing stood out as a major need for improvement. It was very clean. The only "improvements" I could suggest are unrealistic. (i.e. steam room or separate youth locker room.) Thanks for a great facility. I wish I lived closer.

Everyone is nice and friendly and welcoming, center is clean and employees are attentive to any concerns we may have. Working out at the machines in the fitness center and looking out through the windows and sometimes enjoying an old game show playing on one of the TVs at the same time has become a welcome routine for me and my husband 3-4 times a week! Thank you for making it a pleasant experience!
