i LOVE the shalamo ymca. it is my favorite. the staff at the front desk always says hello and are very helpful. if they don't know the answer they will find it. the desk at the work out center always has someone ready to help, i've asked about machines and the person enthusiastically showed me around and answered all of my questions. so glad the staff is so warm, welcoming and helpful. (don't worry, i tell the staff when i'm in).

The staff and the facility is very clean

Love the environment. Friendly and welcoming. The cleanest gym I have ever worked out at. It is easy to motivate myself to go because I know I will see friendly faces behind the desk and at the gym.

Clean, every one is very friendly, other members have been kind and have talked to me and told me about their favorite classes.

Very clean, newer facility with plenty of parking and equipment, plus both indoor and outdoor walking options.

Christy is absolutely amazing with the kids.

It would be very helpful to add a ledge to stand on in the deep area on at least one end. For people swimming laps it is hard to rest or change equipment in such deep water. when we can't stand on the end.

Such a clean facility!! I appreciate that the aquatic programming also accounts for the community’s needs and not just swim teams. It’s been extremely hard to get to other Y’s because my work schedule interferes with open swim time for the community. It’s nice that this facility operates with others in mind.

People are awesome and lots of different programs to make it interesting.

I would like to see staff though in the workout / fitness room better use the TVs. It’s always the same “Roku” channels or Fox News. Kinda a turn off with both since it’s always the same and while I get it that I’m there took out I’m a regular there every morning for 5 years the staff can change it if I ask. I know I’m not there for it but certain staff turn the channels on they want and if their political views skew one way it’s pretty obvious what they out on. Ask your staff to be more diverse and be intentional to put on other things besides the Roku channels every morning. I know it’s minor but it’s the little things!

Also a sign up by the cubbies would be helpful to ask others to not workout in that space. Encouraging them to go out in the machines area would be good!

Friendly staff at the desk, class leader & lifeguard for the water aerobics class. My son really enjoyed weight training. We'll definitely be back, especially now that we live closer than we used to.

The facility is clean, bright and full of friendly staff and members! The programs offered are very diverse from skill levels to types of training.
