I like the fact it is close to home and the programs offered.
Although we don’t use all the amenities the Y offers we do like attending the total body fitness classes. Just wished a third day was offered. The facility is always clean and fresh.

Friendly staff. It is a small facility but has everything you would need. The environment is uplifting and the facility is clean and bright. A puzzle is always available in the lobby. The YMCA is involved in a variety of community events and provides events at its facility for the community. It is a great asset for the community.

The Schalmo Y is a very clean facility. I use the pool a few times a week. The pool and locker rooms are excellent. The staff are all friendly and professional.

Schalmo brings a sense of community to the member. The staff is outstanding and the facility is clean. As a mom of 3, the childcare offering is a bid draw along with the various classes for them.

Because, since I was a bit younger, like 17 and learned to become a Lifegard and swim instructor I learned to work there. After some years I went to the Navy and had an issue in my life called moyamoya. When I came home I re-learned how how to live and work in the fitness area. Now as a member of the YMCA.
Our family joined the YMCA this fall and absolutely love the community and family options. Our kids are doing fantastic in the swim program and I cannot wait to see them grow with these facilities.
VERY clean! I was really impressed by how clean everything, especially the locker room was but really everywhere was clean and picked up. The staff where really friendly when I entered the building.
