Love the hours of child watch time. This makes it convenient for me as a mom to get to the gym and get my workouts in. The gym is always clean and well maintained. Everyone is super friendly. It is smaller so at times I come in every treadmill is taken or the only stair master which makes your workouts have to be pretty flexible.

The proximity of the Y has taken away the excuse that the Y is too far to go. The friends that I’ve made in the friendly workout classes hold me accountable as well. If you want to make friends while improving the quality of your health, I highly recommend a Y membership.

The Schalmo Family YMCA is welcoming, clean, and a great place to work out. I would recommend the facility in a heartbeat and I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff.

The whole environment. The staff are kind and efficient the events offered are fun and informative. The facility is clean and inviting.

We've been going for close to a year now, and we love it. Our daughter enjoys the people in the child watch area. The child watch (at least at the times we go) isn't overly crowded, and the kids all seem to be having fun. Having them broken up into the different classes is the best move. The machines are in good shape, everything seems to be in working condition. I do wish we had a little more variety, or multiples of the same machine during peak hours, but it's not a common issue. The sauna has been amazing, hot tub, pool area; all great. I do wish the pool was a little warmer, but that's a small issue. Staff is always friendly. It's a great place to be.

We are new to the area. The Silver Sneakers and yoga classes are a great way to get on a scheduled exercise program and meet some super welcoming people. The instructors are excited to lead and great trainers.
