Great pool with lots of convenient lap swim times, friendly helpful staff, nice indoor track. Love knowing they help people in need in my community like subsidizing memberships for foster children & inviting homeless people to use the shower facilities!
The fact that I can bring my disabled family members IS THE BEST. They can't go alot of places to seek out diversity or community. I feel like that can be achieved here.
This Y is a happy place. Everyone who works there always smiles and is ready to help in any way. They offer great programs and opportunities for our youth and never forget about the older generation as well. Haselwood YMCA is the pillar in my community. I am proud and grateful.
Friendly staff and clean well maintained facilities
The indoor walking track, the lap pool, the classes offered for kids and adults, the equipment for dry land exercises, and it’s national membership which I’ve used in AZ, Texas and Wisconsin.
Clean, very nice facilities, friendly personnel.
The staff are friendly. I love going to the water aerobics on Tuesday and Thursday.

It's serene and when I go, not very crowded. I'm not super excited about the new layout as I'm there to lift weights and I feel like that big spot in the middle is too big. I'm feeling crunched!
Everyone is always polite. Clean. Machines are kept up.
I think it's probably time to nudge the kids just a little about cell phone usage during working out. Like list it as a special rule throughout the workout room:
Please enjoy your music while working out but be aware that there might be people waiting to use the machine you're on. If you want to surf the web, we have many areas where you can relax and enjoy your surfing.

I visited Haselwood YMCA to open a memebership thru my Medicare Advantage Renew Active benefit. The sign up process was informative, personal, efficient and pleasant - I had a lovely conversation with the agent. Prior to this, I had a detailed conversation with Heather Fitzgerald regarding the Weight Loss Program. I came away knowing the steps for my enrollment in the program, and encouragement on my health journey.

I have only been a member for a week, but first impressions can be everything! Well, I have found the members friendly and helpful, especially when new to a class. The staff is always helpful, making eye contact, which makes asking a question easy. The instructors are well trained. My impression is that Haselwood Y is a comfortable place to do exercise at your own pace. I am looking forward to trying new classes and exploring the exercise machines too.
One of the main reasons I go to Silverdale is to join in water aerobics.class taught by Teresa. I have told many friends about her classes.. Teresa is a special person, full of energy, love, knowledge and takes the time to talk with folks in her classes.. I have gone and still do to chair yoga and another water aerobics - my favorite is with Teresa.
I sincerely the Silverdale Y does realize the "gem of a person" they have with Teresa on staff! I believe she should receive a bonus/pay raise!!!
Kind and patient staff which truly messages a difference. Wonderful environment to work on health, fitness and overall wellness. Also has a Chapel room to be able to sit with God and/or talk with a group about Jesus and His teachings, and/or pray. This is a place I would definitely recommend to all friends and families.
The people at the Y make it easy for me to come back again and again so I actually keep up my regimen!
It has everything I need as an adult and everything my child needs to keep busy as well and we feel safe there
The many classes that are offered for not just myself but also my children.
The staff at this YMCA are very helpful and friendly. Recently I had a fall and my knees were bleeding. I was planning to just manage on my own. But soon I was surrounded by 3-4 very competent women staff members. They really took care of me including walking me to my car.
Swimming lessons, warm pool for kids
The facility has a large variety of exercise opportunities and activities for all ages.
That it set up for every level of fitness and age. You can challenge yourself by working independently or in group classes. They encourage physical activities as well as social interactions; the senior social hours three times a week. I have also participated in there ' Live Strong' program for cancer, which was a very positive experience.

It’s clean the staff is friendly and they have many programs for all ages. Their exercise machines are very good. Although they took some out lately.
Haselwood YMCA staff are absolutely wonderful. Staff have always been helpful and friendly, even during emergencies (there was an emergency my first visit). The facilities are always clean. The fact there are non-gym classes available such as guitar is crazy, yet great for the mind and soul. Thank you, Haselwood YMCA!
The layout and features including the track. All ages use and enjoy the gym, like a village with a cafe too. As an adult I look with envy at the tennis table in the teen section wishing I could play too! My trainer Robin is excellent. I'm looking forward to a silver membership starting next month.

Maybe create more space between machines, and add more elipticals with arm movement feature.
