Wonderful pool complex with fantastic lifeguards . Staff at entrance to the YMCA also professional, helpful. Also workers who maintain the cleanliness of the area go above and beyond to keep the locker room clean.

I wanted to submit an Name removed concern about some older men at the facilities, as a younger (20s) woman that swims at the pool for my daily laps. I think the Director and the lifeguard staff have been doing an amazing job taking in feedback from the community. And, the Director is very involved and serious about patrons safety for all the swimmers, swim teams, and youth programming and the little ones playing at the pool and those doing the classes. So the 10 rating is for them. But, some of the older men there (who work out there or hang out at the hot tub or pool) and throughout the facilities feel entitled to force an interaction with younger women and of course because it's a community space and very public setting, they bet on the fact that younger women are going to be polite and accommodate them. Under the guise that they're just being friendly. While I understand people are more friendlier and open than others, that does not mean some younger women or the person on the receiving end of that interaction want that interaction (especially, some days and time you just want to be left alone to focus and destress) and especially, as vulnerable it is to be more exposed at the pool (in a one piece or some who are also in two pieces). There was an older man, Ulysses (who does the paddle) and he's friendly with the lifeguards. Over a year ago, I politely held a conversation with him in the sauna (conversing all of us together with other people in the sauna, too). Since, he constantly keeps expecting to engage each other. And, he doesn't even remember my name, just calls me girl. I only interacted with him once or twice after that but, his negging and prying into small details of my life is a red flag and enough boundary crossing to know that I don't feel comfortable with him or like him as a person. And, so I haven't seen him for months, thank god, but lately, I ran into him on Tuesday (~10am-11am), and he kept staring while I was swimming, and jumped into my lane, so I moved to another lane, and he stayed around the hot tub, but I kept swimming until he left. Today, I ran into him again around the same time, and he said 'what's up girl', and I ignored him, and he then yelled at me 'HEY!' to force an interaction. I just kept ignoring him and walked to the equipment then back to look for an empty lane. It's not just him. I had an older man tell me I swam beautifully, and then waited for me to come out of the locker room to talk to me; but I looked down at my phone to avoid him. That same man hovered around me throughout the facilities over several days/weeks, I had an older man asked if he could watch me swim to see what I was doing to kick so well and fast. I think thankfully one of the lifeguards told him he can't do that. I had an older man sit close to me in an empty steam room, and when I asked him to please move over and give enough space in-between, he ignored me and continued to try to make small talk, and I just left. I feel I keep having to adjust my schedule or using the facilities for myself, to avoid dealing with these men. And, at that point of realizing that, looking at all that combined and other experiences, I'm ignoring how unsafe and uncomfortable I felt by not wanting to say something because we, women, are always treated like we're overreacting or not believed. Or, to show compassion or understanding that some older generations have a lack of understanding of boundaries. But, also, with that clear enough age gap (20+, 30+) or feigning ignorance when you speak up or treating you like you're rude or disrespectful because you don't want to accommodate their forced interaction, they are aware that is crossing a boundary and a clear imbalanced power dynamic. I want to share my personal/held-in experiences so if there are others that are feeling that way that there can be a paper trail. And, also, just for the staff to be aware of this.
They open at 5:00 AM. The place is nice and clean. All of the people that I have met there have been nice and we have become friends. That is both the people there to workout and the staff. It is a very nice facility with endless offerings. Numerous machines and free weights to be able to workout any way you want. They have a very nice track so people can walk, jog, or run without being out in the elements. I enjoy going there.
This Y has everything a person could want.to improve their fitness. This location is always clean.

All of the directors, coaches, and teachers make my kids feel so loved. Their confidence has soared and they have found a whole group of people who love them and love watching them grow as much as I do. My kids are gaining experience but also gaining mentors. The staff is worth their weight in gold for how much they pour into all the kids in their care.
