The Y is wonderful, but you need to know that there is a homeless camp starting up at the entrance of the Y on Poplar street. It's across from the place the kids play when you have events. IMO it's dangerous and should be removed asap. More will come and it will not be safe for persons or vehicles in the area.
Steam room and staff. Being a professional, I would like longer hours so I can still make it of the day runs long, especially Sunday (till 6 pm) and weekdays till 10 pm.

Do not appreciate dues increase EVERY YEAR and No notice ahead of time. NOT everyone has insurance to pay for monthly dues!!!!!! Do Better. You also need someone to take care of womens locker room during the day.

The people! Our Haselwood YMCA is a friendly, positive and encouraging place to be. The instructors are great, the facility is clean, front desk staff is warm and friendly. The Bible Study group is helping meet spiritual needs of our YMCA members by praying for member prayer requests. Communication during the recent classroom floor resurfacing was outstanding. Thank you all for your contributions to the health and well-being of our community.
Access to equipment, cleanliness, staff is so helpful and pleasant to deal with. A social outing for me. Excellent classes also and instructors.

The class coaches are wonderful. The facilities staff do a terrific job at keeping the building clean and well appointed. The class offerings can keep us busy 7 days a week!!!

I enjoy the Y for many reasons ……good and knowledgable instructors, helpful and welcoming front desk personnel.
The staff is very friendly & helpful. The place is always cleans & tidy. The shower rooms are spotless. I wish there was a YMCA in Port Orchard . The drive is a bit much for me going through the shipyard. I like the walking track & all the weight machines. No other fitness facility beats what the YMCA has to offer. Please come to Port Orchard.

I workout every morning (Monday - Friday) and always enjoy the friendly atmosphere, updates on any changes displayed on the counter ie “lazy river closed”, the “buzz” of activity and the spotless environment!

Employees and volunteers are always very polite, helpful and professional. I love the set up with the track, exercise machines, free weights and all the great programs that the Y offers. It is very convenient to have a Kitsap Physical Therapy office on site. The atmosphere at Haselwood YMCA is wonderful with great staff and clientele.
