Many choices of activities
No other Gym can compete. Family oriented for when I bring my kids. Has everything I need (except the ab cruncher). But I’ll let that one slide 10/10 for me dog.
Brooke and Becca are amazing instructors. They encourage you to push yourself and also to give yourself grace at the same time. I never feel judged if I am a step behind the others or I need to modify what we are doing. They are such strong women- physically and soulfully! They are just a joy to take a class from

Entire staff is friendly and helpful. Equipment is well maintained and laid out in a user friendly order. Grandkids love the pool too!

Our private swim instructor is amazing, she is good at working with young kids, helping them be motivated and is very encouraging.

We have seen great improvements in our son's swimming since he started swim lessons at the Gordon Family YMCA. When we started about a year ago, we could hardly get him to get into the pool. Fast forward to this week and he was swimming on his own using a pool noodle. We will be continuing our swim lessons with the YMCA and will be enrolling his little sister in the future. We highly recommend swim lessons at the Gordon Family YMCA to others. We gave 9/10 because some of the instructors can be a little more fun and engaging than others. But the are all great.

Cleanliness, friendly staff and good equipment
The Gordon Family YMCA has a variety of activities for all ages. I attended Silver & Fit Class and was amazed at what the YMCA provides. I use the pool for physical therapy and am glad it is up and running again after COVID. I will now go down more often and participate in more classes that are available to me. The YMCA is doing a great job in Sumner, WA.
The “Y” isn’t just another gym. It’s a place which provides a supportive environment for social as well as physical health for all ages.
There are programs and activities for every level of fitness as well as opportunities for participating in small group studies and crafts.
It always seems like a happy place. Staff is helpful and available. So well cared for, always clean.
Clean and good assortment of equipment for weightlifting.
Only one complaint, could probably use signs or enforcement of not throwing or dropping weights“ in the freeway dumbbell area.
We have really enjoyed lessons at the Y. I was especially impressed with their ability to pivot when it turned out my four year old was not ready to have swim lessons with a male instructor. Everyone was so kind and understanding and came up with an easy solution for everyone.

We absolutely love swim classes at the Gordon Y! Not only is the pool fantastic but we've had some amazing instructors as well. Particularly our current instructor! She's currently (3/17) teaching the preschool aged level 4 class at 6:30 on monday nights and I think she's my favorite instructor yet. I think she handles the children well in terms of keeping their attention and setting reasonable and firm expectations, but she also is really working on teaching them and challenging them in ways that other instructors haven't. Sometimes instructors tend to let the kids just do the fun things and then don't correct flaws they see. I understand that the kids like having fun, but swimming is an important skill, and our family allows our swimmer to have fun in the water before and after class, so we appreciate when she is really LEARNING and taking it seriously in swim class.
The staff is friendly and my kids learn a lot from the teachers. They are always willing to educate me on what skills my kids might need to pass the current class. Love them ❤️
