I just like how one of the instructor teaches. I came to Gordon for swimming lesson in November due to waking up late for registration madness. However I keep coming back to Gordon for one specific instructor (she is much…wiser, than the younger instructor), hoping my son continue to get her as an instructor.
I really like the attitude of the trainers to the lesson. My son really likes these lessons and looks forward to them. The lessons always start on time, the trainers are in a good mood, joke with the children, and the lessons are held in a playful way, which my son really likes.
Good place for kids
We move them and even drive further to this location as the instructor have been the best for our little kiddos!
My son was in the preschool water acclimation class on Tuesdays at 4:45 with coach Aly. She was AMAZING. My son refused to get in the water in the last session and I think a big part of his success in this session was due to Aly. She was warm, inviting, consistent and made the class fun for my 3 year old. I appreciate her attitude and approach to each diverse kid. Thank you for a great session Aly!

Swim instructors are patient and fun. Lifeguards are observant and kind. Pool is awesome - kids LOVE lazy river.
We love swim lessons at the Y! The teachers are fantastic and work well with the ever squirmy preschoolers!

Ms Eileen is a treasure and needs to be protected at all costs. She is amazing at being hands on with the kids and understanding when to push their comfort zone and when to not. My daughters confidence in the water has improved due to her teaching over the past few sessions.

Everything! Lots of wonderful people work there! Such a great variety of things to do for everyone! I have “new” friends that I have met at the Y!
Although new to the facility we are impressed with the Y. All the staff have been super friendly and helpful. The building and equipment are very clean and well maintained. We feel welcomed.
What I really enjoy about my Gordon Family YMCA experience is the strong sense of community. Whether I’m working out, taking a class, or just walking through the lobby, there’s always a friendly face and a welcoming vibe. I love the environment at the YMCA. I would love to see a non-competitive/skills building volleyball opportunity for teens. I am a homeschooler, and I’m sure there are other homeschoolers that could use volleyball practice if that helps with timing in the gym. Thank you!
Gordon Family Y is a really comfortable community of people who are so friendly and care about each other. The dance, senior and fit and yoga instructors are very knowledgeable, down to earth and have become friends to me. The variety of exercise classes and equipment are so great that it's hard to plan enough time to do all the activities I like to do. Thank you for creating such a warm community that provides exercise and social opportunities for all who visit.
Variety of class offered , how clean the facility is. How friendly and encouraging the staff members are!
I love walking the track and I also love using the machines upstairs. My only problem is is a lot of people will sit on their phones on the machines for a long time long periods of time so we don’t get a chance to use them if somebody could hang some signs saying, please don’t just sit on the machine while you’re talking on your phone or something other people are waiting for them that would be terrific. Thank you.

Nice facility. Play pickleball. Use track, bikes, and row machine. Finish.off with a splash in pool or hot tub.
The swim lessons are easy to register for. On the day of the lesson, it’s easy to find the right area with the names on the signs. The email after all the sessions are helpful in registering for the next class. The instructors are good with kids. They keep the kids engaged.
