Despite being in touch with the Family YMCA for many years I had never tried youth sports. Our experience was smooth. Will definitely do it again!
We love YMCA sports for our kids !
Very friendly and clean environment. Zumba classes are great.
I can workout on the machines and can time my visits when it is least crowded.
Folks at the desk are always friendly and helpful.
Construction finally over. Mostly enough machines, but I use others until the one I need is free.
The best yoga instructors in my experience:

Being outside and the variety of activities.
I appreciate that the facilities are kept so clean! All of the staff I've met from the front desk to my personal trainer, Priyanka, have been friendly and helpful.
I like the group exercise classes. My favorite is the bolly beats class.
The Plano YMCA is a great place to workout ? It's clean, great staff, has a great selection of workout apparatus and free weights along with a new gymnasium.
The wide variety of classes and exercise equipment! At a fair price.
Friendly Staff, Overall Cleanliness, Well Kept Washrooms, New Upgrades, Warm Interior Colors, Lots of Sun Light, Plenty of Mirrors etc.
Things that can be better:
1. Faulty design of the wet sanitized napkins on the floor, almost always, makes everyone to open the lid, to grab the napkin. This is a severe inconvenience to every proud member of the Y. These have to be replaced with containers that can be positioned on the wall, which also helps save the already tight space on the floor.
2. The dry napkins sometimes are hard to find on the floor. We have to go around looking for a container to feel lucky. This can get better.
3. While most members clean the treadmills after use, some don't. It will be nice if Y can do something to help every member cleanup the machine after use.
It’s a awesome place and awesome team
As I started as a camper on the day one, both Fang and Wolf have been great to me . The I personally got Wolf as my counselor and he was exceptional. Throughout the week, both Wolf and Fang have been really kind and nice to me. Whether it was kayaking, swim, BB range, or anything in between, the counselors have been super nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back next summer!
Great environment for sports (courses, machines...) and very nice team.
Friendly staff, lots of equipment and plenty of group activities.
Everyone is friendly from the front desk staff to maintenence and instructors. It is also, very clean always.
Fresh and clean
I'm sending my three year old boy for summer camp , it's his first exposure with others.
He doing great with teachers help.
Enrolling my child in preschool for the very first time was a big step, but our experience at the Plano YMCA has been absolutely wonderful! What I love most is the incredibly warm and welcoming environment. The teachers, Maddie and Vania, are so patient, caring, and truly dedicated to the kids. They made the transition so smooth for us, and seeing my child come home happy and excited to learn every day means the world to me. I couldn't have asked for a better first preschool experience!
Almost everything
The kids loved it they had a great time and really enjoyed both the activities and the camp counselors. We will be back next year for sure!
My kids had a great time. The counselors where great and my kids loved the activities especially tubing
The YMCA of Plano is our neighborhood gym. The facility is clean and nice. The staff are all kind and nice. The answer all my questions regarding membership and events, and they help with how to operate the equipments. My daughter just turned 10 and got a orientation, then she get to use the gym for exercise. We love the YMCA!

I really love my Plano YMCA — the staff and trainers are fantastic, and the community feels like family. I’ve been part of the Live Strong Program for over a year now, and Priyanka has been incredible. She encourages us, supports us, and creates such a positive environment every session.
My only small suggestion is about the TVs in the gym. They’re often set to news channels, which can feel pretty negative lately. Would it be possible to switch to something more uplifting, like HGTV, the Good Channel, Travel Channel, or the History Channel?
Thank you so much!
