I love the fact that it is very close to my home, walking distance. Classes are fun and the staff is very nice.
We had an amazing experience at the YMCA Plano preeschool, where the educators are truly caring, patient and experienced. They creat a warm and nurturing environment that makes learning fun and exciting every day. What I love the most about the preschool is how the teachers take the time to understand each child‘s unique needs. My 4 year old loves going to school, every day.
Friendly staff, spacious locker room, great lighting in cardio room
I appreciated the welcoming staff, a nicely decorated women's locker room, and coffee/tea offerings.
I was surprised that towels are not offered as they are at the YMCAs in Dallas. I think this is an important service to ensure that people use a towel to sit on the equipment. I did NOT see anyone else carrying their own towel in the weight room. By contrast, the Y's I attend in Dallas, everyone is using the provided towels.
I would love to have Pilates or Barre class in the evening, after working hours.

They provide great services, I wish more DFW locations had PreSchool services.
I'm able to get on the equipment for my workout with little or no wait.
It's also very close to where I live which makes it very convenient.

The first thing that struck me was the warmth of the people at the reception. They always greet me with a genuine smile and are incredibly helpful.
Then there are the classes and the coaches. Wow. The variety of classes is fantastic, and I've found myself trying things I never thought I would enjoy, from yoga to HIIT. The coaches are not just instructors; they're motivators and cheerleaders. They push me to challenge myself, but they also create a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone feels comfortable.
The spirit of the YMCA is infectious. It's a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to improve their health and well-being. There's a real sense of camaraderie, and I've met some incredible people who have become a part of my support system.
The YMCA has seamlessly woven itself into my daily routine. It's not just something I do; it's something I look forward to. It's become a vital part of my life, both physically and mentally. I leave feeling energized, refreshed, and ready to take on the day. I'm so grateful to have found a place that prioritizes community, support, and overall wellness. The YMCA has truly become my happy place.

It is a great way to introduce your kids to different sports. The YMCA employees really make it about teaching the kids. My children love.
