At the Moody Family YMCA, I swim laps. I appreciate the number of hours in the day reserved for lap-swimming. The pool is in good condition. The YMCA staff are all friendly and upbeat, even at 5:30 in the morning!

I like the YMCA Moody Family, but I cannot understand why they did not have swimming lifeguards in the summer! I could not use the swimming pool today. Will I be able to use it tomorrow??
The young man who helped us with our membership was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a tour and couldn’t have been more informative and welcoming. His name was Cormac. Lovely young man.

My relationship with the Moody YMCA is very strong mainly ,yes to keep maintaining my health as a place to work out but the friendships I have made the many years as a member.

The overall atmosphere is inviting, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the lane pool and lifeguards are the best.
ITs really great overall.
ONLY suggestion:
There are folks that sit on the machines and look at there phone for two minutes. Most people's sets take 30 seconds. Sometimes there are folks in line; sometimes not - but people are always waiting to use every machine when it is busy.
I feel like the YMCA policeman - always asking someone to allow others to take turns.
Hopefully you address this!

The people who work at the Moody Y are so friendly and helpful. The variety of programs that are offered can meet every need. The whole operation is beautifully managed, and organized. In addition, all of the equipment is kept in good working order and it is cleaned regularly. I highly recommend the Moody Y to everyone.
