Joe and his team maintain high standards for the Lake Highlands Family YMCA. I especially like Carole Watters Tai Chi class and Austin Cooper's physical training. That last one hurts, but in a good way.

The technology- sign-ups for classes, entertainment centers on machines, etc is baffling to me.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The large glass walls makes it feel very open and almost like you are working out outside. You can see the clouds and trees and greenery. It is clean and has disinfectant wipes and filtered water stations easily available. There are several single bathrooms thru out the gym in additioned to the bathrooms in the men and women locker rooms.There offer many different classes and have good personal trainers available for all ages. Large rooms for classes and basketball/pickleball courts.The pools are very pretty with lots of seating available. There is an area with tables and chairs, coffee and drinks and snacks for purchase. They offer oportunities to donate to worthly causes and donate blood. There is something for every member of the family. The newly remodeled gym feels almost like a second home. Excellent remodeling job!
Fabulous facility and friendly staff! The remodel is most impressive. Just wish the outdoor pool could be open even one morning during the week mid August through September. Many of us bring the little ones who aren't yet in school.
Big, clean , up to date, plenty of room, plenty of equipment, plenty of classes, and locker rooms are nice.

My kids enjoy the kids class while I attend the low impact 45 minute class . It’s been good for my back since I have back pain issues . The trainer in the low impact class is supportive and amazing.

Personnel are always helpful and polite. Facilities always clean and inviting.
Love that it is primarily neighborhood families and friends. I mainly lift weights and the floor has most everything I need. Not as much as some large commercial gyms but if you know how to work out, there is enough. For those who like more structured and group workouts, there are classes going on all the time. There is something for everyone. Pool...check. Basketball courts...check. Pickleball...check. Childcare...check. Great place to keep the whole family active and healthy!

It’s clean the stuff all are friendly. Nice environments for all ages groups. If there is steam and jaquze room would even more suitable to the members. But, still like it compared to other facilities.
Great facility. I love the resources you have to not only strengthen your body but also your walk with God.
Loved coach Mary Claire and the way she made the kids feel comfortable in the water. My son and daughter both loved her and gained so much confidence and are way stronger swimmers!

My boys love coach Alex! This was our second summer with him and they’ve come so far after 2 weeks! LH YMCA was quick to respond to request to schedule swim lessons and coordinated for the boys to be in the same class!

The classes are amazing, and the facilities are beautiful! I feel so good every time I leave. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Have not had one bad experience!

Wonderful variety of water exercise classes! Great instructors who seem to love their work. Great pool, locker room/showers and I’ve made lovely friends in class.
