I recently brought my daughter and her 4 kids on a family visitor pass. She loved the body pump and hopes to join sometime next year. She lives in Grand Rapids but will prefer coming to Lowell because she was so impressed with the child care provided at the Litehouse facility! The child care area is clean and spacious and the child care staff were so good to the kids. And by their actions and comments it was clear that safety was their first priority! The kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave! My daughter was so impressed! Thanks Litehouse YMCA. You’re spectacular! All of you…

Nice facilities, friendly and helpful staff and a real hometown feeling atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
Easy access, receptionists are always pleasant and welcoming, facility is clean, enjoy the Fit for Life class and it’s coaches..especially Jayce😊

Great equipment, super clean. The best part, walking into an establishment that gives all of us the feeling everyday you are ‘home for the holidays’. I see a lot of smiling faces from employees to guests. Everyone enjoys the Biggby coffee bar. 😁

I went to the Yin yoga class with Dawn and absolutely loved it. She is a wonderful teacher! I came to her class based on two recommendations from other students of hers. The facilities at the Lighthouse YMCA are also very nice!
The front desk and child care staff are always friendly and cheerful. They are starting to remember me and my kids so it makes me feel like I belong. I love the fitness classes and the instructors are fun and energetic. The facility is always clean and organized.
The people there
I love the kidzone. My boy loves it there and so I take him every day I'm able to go. I love the interactive cardio equipment so I'm not staring at a wall.
I can’t even imagine where my husband and I would be (both physically as well as mentally) without the support and stimulation we’ve found at our local YMCA. We’ve both made so many new friends and acquaintances over the years, as well as having an outlet for physical activity that, depending on the time of year, would otherwise be difficult to find.
We’ve since retired but the Y is invaluable for all ages - young people, older kids, young parents and their little ones, older adults (before and after work), retirees…. It’s amazing to see them come and go throughout the day and evening, so full of energy and purpose.
We’re so thankful we discovered the YMCA - it’s priceless! ❤️

*Having the equipment age limit stickers and signs is a good idea.
It is very clean. Large workout space. I do wish there was a lot more room for the free weights. I would highly recommend the facility for those people that want to workout with machines or do cardio.
