I love the YMCA. I would like more evening group classes - most are during the day and are not accessible for working adults.
The Visser Family YMCA, very professional and friendly people.
Had a great experience at this location - the spin class was great! I typically attend the Hunting YMCA downtown, which has a more updated feel, but overall I was very happy with my experience at the Visser YMCA.

Great environment and clean facilities
Friendly faces everywhere - from front desk staff to group class instructors to other members. I may have felt a little nervous before trying a new class, yet have always felt welcome.

The variety of classes and equipment provided. The teachers are enthusiastic.
The offering of a week long guest pass is a great benefit to me, as someone who does not live in Grand Rapids but is visiting 6 weeks out of the year with family living there. The only suggestion with this is maybe generating a temporary membership card in these instances to quickly scan in, versus needing to be looked up in the system each time
