Everything! The facility, what is offered at the facility, the staff, the equipment, the hours... Everything.
At the times I come to the Y, the front desk staff is always friendly. They recognize who the regulars are and greet them. I like that there is a checkers game ready for anyone to play as well as the puzzles that all are invited to help complete. Nothing at the Y seems rushed but everything continues at a steady pace. No shouting or swearing and not too much kid screaming. Patrons are usually friendly and oldtimers are willing to assist newbies.

I have so much fun interacting with all the different people doing something similar that we all enjoy. The encouragement and support when we each complete our craft is amazing.

Variety and welcomeness
I attend at the Visser Y to swim laps. The pool at the Spartan Y is smaller and less desirable.
I have found that the there is usually a lane available in the morning when I like to swim, so that is convenient
Sometimes weight benches are arranged to close together especially when trying to put on heavier plates.......add another leg press machine it's something a lot of people like to use .....but overall I think Visser is a great place to work out

The women’s locker room is very nice. You have a choice of warm water pool or the cooler lap pool. Easy access to park.
