Availability everything is at hand. But the parking is not good. The handicap parking are being used by people who are not allowed to park there! Thank you.
It's a great place to work out! The people are friendly. It's a great part of our community. I'd recommend it over any other gym in our area near Rockford.
Lots to do to get/stay healthy
Too many people texting for rather long periods of time while sitting on and tying up machines.
With the shift from from MVP, things have gotten quite a bit busier. More reps, less texts.
Very friendly people- both those working there and the other guests.
I've met several people there who are now best friends!
The locker room and shower area are very clean- thank you!!
Clean, welcoming environment! Generally the staff is helpful and available if needed. I like the fact that there is a wide range of ages and physical levels and everyone is exercising at their own pace. Machines are clean and well maintained. I look forward to working out !
Always friendly and a great variety of classes and equipment.
New treadmills are awesome- looking forward to more future updates.
Staff is very welcoming and helpful.
It is always clean and there is always someone around to help you out. We love the pool and the exercise equipment.
Very nice facility. A Larger indoor track would be cool. So would the return of the towel services.
Everyone and everything
The Y is a wonderful place to work out and make good friends.
Clean facility, friendly everybody from staff to members, wonderful pool, great classes (especially yoga).
Please find someone to do a drumming class again!
It’s nearby, the equipment and track are what I need and I’m looking forward to trying the classes offered.
Friendly employees and convenience of the building
Friendly, clean and a variety of things to do
Hi no no o
Everyone on staff is super friendly and helpful. There always seems to be enough space to get a good workout or recovery session in. Pleased with the cleanliness of the facility bathrooms as well. The locker room toilets could occasionally use some help, but how people respect public amenities doesn't fall upon the YMCA. Overall, a great place; 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone I know. Best YMCA I've had the honor to experience through my years.
The Wolverine YMCA in Belmont has been very important to me. I joined in 2006 after experiencing a heart attack and 4 bypasses. I did Cardiac rehab but knew I couldn't stop there. The YMCA has provided me with opportunities to exercise, participate in swim classes, walk, use a personal trainer, etc.
It is also a friendly atmosphere by both staff and other members. That is extremely important. Potlucks for Seniors and various other events for all ages enhance the "Y" experience. You won't regret becoming a member. Like all other opportunities, the more you participate, the more you receive back in better health, mobility, strength and well-being.
I like the friendliness of the workers and the patrons.
No judgement….every fitness level is welcome.
Eric at the front desk is awesome - Gail, who is doing cleaning and maintenance also awesome - along with most staff encountered
Friendly team
The family atmosphere
Like in generally get on the machine, I like. Staff is friendly, and the place is fairly clean.
Great Staff with a variety of classes and a clean pool with friendly lifeguards.
Very friendly
Enjoy playing pickleball and meeting new people. The one thing I don’t like is the new soap dispensers in the locker room. Many times they are empty and have to find a shower that has soap.

The friendly, helpful staff and the many available classes. Also, the community you care about and the help you give. Your Live Strong class that helps cancer survivors is close to my heart as cancer has touched my family. You also care about seniors, of which I am one, and participate with Priority Medicare to allow us to join. Thank you for all you do!
